Duty Dating

This is the romantic comedy that started my love for costume designing. I was creating a line of evening-wear at my studio and had a meeting with Cherry Norris who was about to direct her screenplay about a woman looking for love with a strategy; she was to “duty date” three men at a time to build her relationship skills. Our lead actress juggled many “toads” before meeting her prince. Cherry (the director) was looking for a costume designer when she came to my studio and saw what I was working on and asked me to be the designer on her film.
