Shanghai Kiss

Didn’t get to go to China (darn) but the LA version was great. Working with Hayden Panettiere was great; we all knew she was going to be a star. Ken Leung was great to work with too. He had a lot of scenes which means a lot of changes and lots of shopping. Unfortunately I didn’t get to do any creative designing but got to shop a lot which is always fun. I was on the search for Liam’s shirts that would be comfortable in hot muggy China. And lots of jeans. Hayden was very fun to shop for too I love it when I get to hit the junior depts., they have the greatest designs. Joel David Moore loved those vintage t-shirts we found for him. We had many more cool t-shirts we wanted to use but just not enough scenes. The script had the line description of him wearing a vintage Ronald Regan suit in brown. Where were we to find that and for a tall thin guy at that? But somehow we did. I love it when that happens.
