And George our UPM thought the costumes would be boring. I read the script and got pretty excited. There were girls living in trees, a mountain man in a peculiar fur ensemble and cute guys gone camping. Plus, I would get to work with our director, Ellory Elkayem who directed “8 Legged Freaks”. He wanted everything natural so we built all of the girls’ costumes … even their p.j.’s. I could have had them wearing the same thing throughout the movie but it was too fun designing for them.
